"Talk To Me Nice" is a song by Ängie in collaboration with Harrison First. It's the last track on their debut album Not Pushing Daisies. It was released on June 5th, 2020. It features a stark sonic change from the previous track, Antiparos.

Background

In an interview for Teez FM, Harrison said that the production of the song was very organic: "It was me Angie, her husband and my best friend sitting in a circle around the table drinking wine and then I put a beat on and we just all started shouting phrases and words we thought sounded nice. It was the purest form of emotion."[1]

On July 28th, Ängie posted a video for the song on her Youtube channel, however, the track is not considered a single. The video was directed by Elis Lindsten and it's the first video where Ängie is not featured at all.

Theme

On the outro, Ängie sings about demanding respect when someone is going to talk to her. It is a very short song, considered an interlude.

Lyrics

Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby
Fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby

I don't like the way you're talking to me
I don't like the way you're fucking with me
I don't like the way you're looking at me
I don't like the way you're talking to me

I don't like the way you're talking to me
I don't like the way you're fucking with me
I don't like the way you're looking at me
I don't like the way you're talking to me

Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby
Fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby

Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby
Fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up
Imma fuck you up, baby

(January first)
