"Hardcore Lover" is an unreleased song by Ängie, speculated to be on her fourth studio album.

Background

Ängie mentioned the song two times on supposed tracklists for Follow The White Rabbit, and then on October 26th, 2021, Osläppt Podcast posted a Youtube video where she performed the song for the first time live.

When the album with Harrison First came out and the track wasn't there, many fans were confused. Ängie then cleared that there was a second album she was working on, and this and other teased tracks like "4 Roses", '16" and "Angelina" would be on it.

Theme

The song talks about a very intense but good, almost addictive romance. It is about Ängie's current boyfriend at the time she wrote the song, Ola Rapace.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
You're stuck in my head like a photograph
Your voice in my head singing "Phonograph"
All I do is listen to our sondtrack
I wanna rewind time, wanna go back

[Verse 2]
I'm singing in your flat and I'm thinking
If you really care or what I'm feeling
I'm laying in your bed and I'm hoping
For you to take my clothes off like you wanted

[Chorus]
Hardcore lover, agressive poetry
You're raising your voice, but I love your screams
Hardcore lover, a dangerous dream
But I love the way you're always making a scene

[Verse 3]
You're bruising my skin and you beat my heart
You make me fall in love you make me fall apart
All I do is chase you back to the start
When loving you is easy like a work of art

[Verse 4]
I sit around you balcony and wonder
If you will come back home tonight in thunder
I lay around your floor going under
Thinking I should maybe dial your number

[Chorus]
Hardcore lover, agressive poetry
You're raising your voice, but I love your screams
Hardcore lover, a dangerous dream
But I love the way you're always making a scene (x2)

[Bridge]
I don't ever want you to leave me
Destructe love is all that I need
You're the only one that I want, babe
You're killing me, please don't break my heart
Baby don't break my heart

[Chorus]
Hardcore lover, agressive poetry
You're raising your voice, but I love your screams
Hardcore lover, a dangerous dream
But I love the way you're always making a scene (x2)
