"Drug Lullabies" is a single by Ängie written with Maja Francis and produced by MINNA. It was released on May 7th, 2021, with the music video coming a week later.
Background[]
Ängie first talked about this song in an Instagram Q&A where she said this was her favorite song of her career, and they should release it soon.[1]
On February 2021, she posted on her Instagram that she was thinking about releasing the song on March or April, and also said that it is a more pop song.[2]
Days later, she announced that she would work with a local Swedish production company to film a new music video that would be released with a new song on April,[3] and on March 5th and 6th she recorded the video in Småland, Eksjö. In an interview for the town's newspaper, she confirmed that the music video would be for "Drug Lullabies".[4]
On April 30th, Ängie finally announced she was going to be releasing the single on May 7th, with the music video coming a week after. She said thank you to everyone who worked with her on the song and music video on the Instagram announcement.[5]
