Ängie posted a photo of some handwritten lyrics of the song with no caption on her Instagram in August 30th, 2021. Before that on August 18th, Ängie had posted a list of song titles - that supposedly were going to be on her new album - and the song was the last of the list.

The song seems to be about Pussel Widegren, Ängie's ex-fiancé with whom she ended a four-year relationship months prior to writing the song. She talks about a wedding ring on the lyrics, that's why fans speculate the song is about the end of their engagement.
